The new brand is coming

Payroll-brand.jpgOctober 1. It’s arguably the most highly anticipated date of our year. It’s the day we say farewell to EMHS and introduce ourselves to the world as Northern Light Health. More than a name change, the new brand conveys our promise to lead Maine on a path to better health. Our system has come together to move healthcare in a new direction creating a system that works for our patients, our people, and our communities.

Are we planning to celebrate?
Absolutely! Starting September 17, across our system, we will give you a sneak peek at our new brand look and feel. On October 1, we will have official “Launch Day” celebrations with fun activities, giveaways, interactive ways to learn more about our new identity, and at which you can claim your free Northern Light Health logo item (if you placed an order). This celebration is about you, our employees, whose optimism, passion, and dedication to our system’s transformation has led us to where we are today.

It’s not over after October 1—we’ve only just begun! You will start to see new signs going up at member locations and the former brand being phased out. Into the late fall and in the new year, we’ll introduce ourselves to the world with an external brand campaign on the radio, in print, on television, and online. We think people will really connect with its message of the authentic Maine values we all hold true.

October 1: Things you need to know
In the excitement of the celebration, assuring the safety and care of our patients is our highest priority. We also know that keeping our operations going smoothly is essential. Watch for communications about the nuts and bolts of what you need to know for October 1, including questions about identification badges, email addresses, member name changes, website changes, and more.
