2019 Research Expo

Clinical research doesn’t always mean whiling away under a microscope. Scientific discoveries are evolving every day by tracking patient trends, testing theories, and analyzing results. Investigators at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center are finding new ways to care for patients. Many of these new discoveries will be showcased at our 2019 Research Expo.

On Monday, June 3, the fourth annual Research Expo, sponsored by Northern Light Clinical Research, is open to any employee interested in digging deeper into research. Nurses and providers alike can learn how to start a research project and what resources may be available. Participants can pick up continuing education credits by attending sessions focused on identifying potential research collaborations within the organization, and learning about original studies in dementia, obesity, osteoporosis, bipolar disorder, oncology, hyperlipidemia and more.

Northern Light Health employees will join in a day of research presentations culminating in an unveiling of annual findings. Staff members conducting research will display their results in the form of 40 research posters and they will be on-hand to discuss their data with participants.

You can still join us for the Expo! Get the full agenda and sign up here:
