Congratulations Terri!

Marie-and-Terri.jpgTerri Vieira, FACHE, president, Northern Light CA Dean Hospital and Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital, received the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award in February at the Small or Rural Hospital Conference at Sunday River.

The award was given to a surprised Terri by Marie Vienneau, BSN, MHA, NE-BC, FACHE, president and CEO of Mayo Regional Hospital. The award recognizes ACHE members who are experienced in the field and have made significant contributions to the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of ACHE’s goals.

Members are evaluated on attributes such as leadership ability, innovative and creative management; executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community; contributions to the development of others in the healthcare profession; leadership in local, state, or provincial hospital and health association activities; participation in civic activities and projects; participation in ACHE activities; and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives.

Terri has served as president of Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital since 2013 and was additionally named the president of Northern Light CA Dean Hospital in 2017. She is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence. She received her bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College and her master’s degree in Health Services Administration from St. Joseph’s College.
